The Admitting Registrar is responsible for efficiently and accurately obtaining appropriate demographics, signatures, completing all required forms and providing patient information as required by state and federal regulations.

This position is per diem (as needed) and will not be offered health benefits or paid time off. The ideal candidate will have evening shift availability 2:30pm-11pm on weekdays and weekends.
Primary Duties:
A registrar will serve as a receptionist, information gatherer, insurance specialist, public relations, and collector.
Employ proper search criteria in order to obtain accurate Medical Record information per departmental guidelines. Ensure that all patients are entered accurately, thoroughly and in a timely mannerin the computer. Bed side registration if needed.
Verify insurance eligibility either by INVISION HDX software, telephone or internet websites.
Request, collect, document, and communicate payment requirements for co-pays and deductibles through US Bank.
Inform patients of their payment options including payment plans, financial assistance programs and compassionate care programs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years Experience working in a healthcare environment required
